Strategy

Rating: G

Summary: Just a little snippet of conversation. Hannibal and Madari discuss world domination. Sorta.

Warnings: All dialogue except one line. Just a gag really. An OC from my Qumar series.

Disclaimer: I don't own the A-Team and don't make any money from this. I don't even own Madari really; he just lives in my head. I need to start charging him rent.

"You know, Faris, if you have a flaw as a strategist it's that you're a little predictable."

"I'm predictable?"

"Keep your kameez on, I didnt mean that in a bad way."

"So I'm predictable in a good way?"

"Get down off your high horse, will you? What I mean is, well you're classically trained aren't you? You had Old Ahmed reading The Art of War to you in your cradle, right. You know everything there is to know about military history and strategy."

"And this is a bad thing?"

"Yeah, because you tend to use those classical strategies undiluted. Most of the time that doesn't matter, because you're not up against someone who knows as much as you. But when you are he can spot a mile away what you're doing."

"Ah. And you think you know as much as me?"

"I know I do."

"I will refrain from comment about typical American overconfidence. So what do you suggest I do, oh great master strategist?"

"You have to mix it up."

"Mix it up?"

"Yeah, a little Saladin here, a dash of Julius Cesar there, a twist of Patton. Thats what I do."

"I see."

"Don't look so worried, you'll get the hang of it."

"Did I say I was worried?"

"You should be. You took Asia much too early, you'll never hold it."

"Really? I know you are attempting to take the Ukraine from me. You've massed forces in Afghanistan for an invasion. You're a little predictable yourself, Hannibal."

"Just roll the dice, you shifty Arab."

Murdock put a couple of cold drinks on the table for them.

"Geez, guys, do you have to get so intense over a game of Risk?"

End
