A Night before Christmas, or A Visit by the A-Team

T'was the night before Christmas and all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring, except for a louse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care
'Til the jerk with the ski mask removed them from there

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads;
BA in his Mohawk, and I in my cap,
Had just settled down for a long winter's nap,

When in the front room, there arose such a clatter,
We grabbed up our guns to see what was the matter.
Away to the front room, we flew like a flash,
Just as the perp was grabbing the cash.

The guy gave a curse and got ready to go,
And dropped all the loot out into the snow,
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But Hannibal and Face, in full battle gear.

Now hit him and beat him, bite him and block him,
Now kick him and clip him, trip him and sock him!
Out on the porch and back by the wall,
Trash the slime bucket! Ski mask and all!

As dry leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,
When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky,
Out to the street, the criminal flew.
Battered and bloodied and face black and blue

Robbing an orphanage is not very nice,
The damaged criminal had paid the price,
It just doesn't pay to try to be bad,
'Specially when it makes a mudsucker mad.

The Colonel looked out at the snow and the ice,
He lit his cigar and said, about our work, "Nice!"
I heard him exclaim, out to the weather,
"I do love it when a plan comes together,"
