"A-Team Intro Parody"

A-Team Intro Parody

Rating: G, no warnings except silliness
Comments: Sure.
Author's Note: This is to make up for that depressing poem. I posted this a little while ago and the reactions were pretty good so I decided why not repost and give our archivist something else to put on the ToDo list. ;-)

ORIGINAL: In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to
prison by a military court for a crime they didn't
commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum
security stockade to the Los Angeles underground.
Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as
soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one
else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can
hire: THE A-TEAM.

PARODY: In 1972 a cracked commando unit was sent to
prison by a military tennis court for a crime they
didn't commit (but in "reality" committed under
orders, which no one ever talks about). These men
therefore escaped (promptly, of course) from an
obviously rather poorly guarded maximum security
stockade to the numerous penthouse suites of the Los
Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the
apparently useless military and government, they
survive as soldiers of really outrageous fortune. If
you have psychiatric problems, if no other
delightfully corny, harmless-violence action show from
the eighties seems to help, and if you can willingly
suspend large amounts of your disbelief for sixty
minutes (minus commercial time), maybe you should take
a daily dose of: THE A-TEAM.
